Theme day for the key characteristic agricultural products county (district) and enterprise was set on 2015 Hunan (Chenzhou) Agricultural Products Expo. In order to well handle the theme day, Zixing city set one special stand and 34 standard stands there and 25 agricultural products processing enterprises and cooperatives attended the expo. Dongjiang Lake sweet mandarin, orchid, “Gounaogong” tea, “Dongjiang fish”, honey and some other excellent ecological agricultural products were favorably received by the citizens.

Though it was a rainy day on Zixing Theme Day, the performances prepared by Zixing city still attracted a lot of audience to enjoy their time there.

In recent years, Zixing city cultivated and formed eight advantageous industries as fruit, tea, vegetable, tea oil, rear livestock, aquatic product, leisure agriculture, and etc. More than 2600 professional planting families operated 78,000mu lands there. Thanks to the sound environment of Dongjiang Lake, Dongjiang sweet mandarin produced there was famous as “king of mandarin”. 48 tea production and processing companies led by Gounaogong Tea Co., Ltd. established series tea brands. Zixing city is also the important base of excellent fish brand of Hunan province and the biggest no-pollution aquatic products cultivation base of Hunan province. More than 20 famous and precious species as salmon, sturgeon, whitebait, and etc. are cultivated there. At the meantime, more than 40 products as cool water rice, tea oil, and etc. were qualified to be “no-pollution agriculture product”, “green food”, and “organic food”. The total output value of the excellent agricultural products hits 2billion yuan.
